2PAC MEETS BIGGIE'S WIFE FAITH EVANS FOR THE FIRST TIME 👀

🗓️ 31 YEARS AGO TODAY: 2Pac and Faith Evans first crossed paths at the Hollywood Athletic Club in L.A. SECRETZ OF WAR.

📸 THE ICONIC PHOTO:
Captured by the late Roland Wirt and verified by event organizer Denise White.

📖 BACKSTORY:
"One night, I went out with the girls in the singing group, Terry, and some of my old friends from the Oakwood, including Curtis. We went to the Hollywood Athletic Club. As soon as we got settled inside, I saw Treach from the group "Naughty by Nature". We exchanged hugs and greetings, and I introduced Treach to my friends. "Somebody here wants to meet you." Treach said. ”My boy Tupac wants to say what's up," Treach said, gesturing to a table behind him. Tupac approached me and we shook hands. He looked exactly like he did on television, bald head and thin, round face with heavy-lidded eyes."

"Almost immediately after we were introduced, a photographer who had been trolling the club for celebrities came up to us and asked us to pose. In the picture, I’m not smiling, and I look high as hell. But although some people have said otherwise, that picture was taken literally seconds after we met. Tupac began to compliment me. "I really like your music. When I was locked up, I listened to that album every day. I want to do a song with you." I said, "You'd have to get clearance from my label to do that." "That's not a problem," he said. "It's not going to be cheap," I told him. "And, I need my money up front." "How much?" I replied, "It's going to be $25,000."

"No problem," he said. Two days later I spoke to B.I.G. I told him, "I met Pac out here, he wants me to do a song with him." "Oh word?" B.I.G. said. "You gonna do it?" "If the money comes through, yeah, I'll do it."

✍🏼 EXCERPT: "Keep the Faith: A Memoir"

⚠️ They met again 3 days later at the Waiting to Exhale premiere. Faith recorded her vocals for "Wonda Why They Call U Bytch" the next day—but Bad Boy quickly blocked the release and forced her off the track.

If you were in Biggie's situation and you saw this photo, what's your first move? 😂
