Throughout my day volunteering with @tedxabq for the 2026 event, I couldn’t help but flash back to my own experience nearly a year ago.
The nerves. The excitement.
The incredible people cheering me on behind the scenes. And, of course, that surreal moment of finally stepping onto the red circle.
This little video can’t possibly capture either experience or all of the amazing people behind and in front of the stage who made them happen. Many I now call friends.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of the TEDxABQ family, with a special shout-out to the one and only @aandrego, who pours her everything into making TEDxABQ happen.
Turns out, the red circle is pretty special from both sides. 🔴❤️

Jenny, your Dad and I are so proud that you have dedicated time and effort not only in becoming a Tedx speaker but also now seeing you devote time and interest in becoming a volunteer for their Albuquerque event this year. You have always excelled in your organizational, promotional, communication, and people skills so you have a lot to offer this organization and we can tell they are happy you are part of their team!
