Project Hietland, a sustainable private residence located in Laren, Netherlands.
The home was designed by the architectural duo Laura van Santen and Diederik de Koning (of the studio @ladida_design_architecture). Completed in 2015, the project focuses heavily on bio-based and renewable resources. It features a visible glued laminated timber structure paired extensively with untreated pine and exposed radiata pine plywood paneling across the interior surfaces
The project went on to receive the 2017 Architectuur Prijs Achterhoek.
