![You should never have to compete with someone’s past to feel secure in your present. Love isn’t about controlling who your partner speaks to or demanding that they prove themselves every day. It’s about being with someone who understands that their choices affect your peace, who sets boundaries without being asked, and who never leaves you questioning whether you’re truly the person they want. You can fight for a relationship together, but you shouldn’t have to fight for your place in it. Sometimes, the most important answer isn’t what someone tells you, but what they choose to do when you stop asking.
Btw, poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ is out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way.
If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link.
