I love this discussion and I LOVE Zhané!! I think we need to bring up the distinction of portraying a masculine role within the relationship and your partner treating you as low as possible - immediately I think of ‘walk them like a dog’ where they see us as below them because of the masculine roles or representation. Love this podcast btw!! Such great discussion topics when we need it the most!! 🖤

ppl make such a big deal abt “hetero dynamics” in a lesbian relationship but the difference is that you get to opt in and do it how you want if that’s what feels satisfying; its not a default or expectation. it’s almost like drag or theatre of a straight relationship rather than emulating it lol. at the end of the day, what in the world is straight about a LESBIAN relationship lmao
