PRAYERS: Singer Amanda Perez is reminding fans to put their health first as she reveals she’s been recovering in the hospital after suffering multiple strokes. On Friday (October 16), the “Angel” singer took to her Instagram to update fans about her hospitalization and subsequent cancelled shows.

Wile sitting in a hospital bed, she said, “Hello everyone, I’m making this video not only for my fans for this weekend. I had shows coming up Denver, Colorado, Orlando, Florida, but just to bring awareness for the past few weeks I’ve been sick and anybody that knows me knows that I’m such a strong person and that I kind of fight through everything no matter what. But this time I can’t. I’m in the hospital because I’ve had a few strokes. My family has a history of heart problems. My father died of a stroke. His sister died of heart problems. His father passed away from heart problems very young.”

Perez continued, “I want people to know that you need to get checked no matter what age you are. I’m going to work on getting better. I want you guys all to know that I love you and I would never never just cancel a show because out of all the years that I’ve done this I’ve never done that....My wife will keep everybody updated. I just wanted to let you guys know that I’m grateful for all you fans and I love you very much.” Perez’s wife, Stephanee Cabrera Perez, also posted to her own Instagram account. On her page, she reposted the singer’s video. She also shared a video of her laying with and consoling the singer in the hospital bed. She continued to share videos of the two while adding emojis. Rapper Baby Bash also spoke out to share prayers for Perez.

is so confusing sometimes

Samsung is putting digital dollars on 82 million Galaxy phones.

Go to coinpicks.app or tap the link in my bio to learn how to use digital dollars and crypto the right way.

Starting the last week of October, eligible Galaxy users in the US will be able to hold USDC right inside Samsung Wallet. USDC is a stablecoin, a digital dollar from Circle built to stay worth one dollar. It’s the same app your credit cards are already in.

You don’t need to download a separate crypto app, and you don’t have to manage your own private keys.

You’ll be able to send money to bank accounts in more than 60 countries, and the person on the other end gets their own local currency. So if you send money home to family every month, this is aimed right at you.

Samsung isn’t the bank, and it doesn’t hold your money. Bastion, a licensed custodian overseen by US regulators, runs the accounts. Coinbase keeps the USDC safe for Bastion. Solana and Sui are the networks it runs on.

This didn’t come out of nowhere. On October 3rd, 2025, Samsung brought Coinbase One into Samsung Wallet for 75 million US users. Now it’s putting the dollar itself in there.

Sending USDC to another crypto wallet is free on Samsung’s side, though the other side might charge. Bank transfers do have fees, and Samsung shows you the fee before you confirm.

The future’s changing right in front of you.

Follow for the next one.
