Television actor Arjun Bijlani and his wife Neha Swami Bijlani have issued an official statement after Neha faced backlash on social media for wearing a T-shirt featuring the words “Allah, Rasool, Muhammad” in Urdu. Addressing the controversy, the couple clarified that the T-shirt was gifted by a fan at a mall in Bangkok and that Neha was unaware of the meaning and religious significance of the writing when she wore it. They expressed regret over the unintended hurt caused, emphasised their respect for all religions and beliefs, and promised to be more careful with gifts in the future. The couple also condemned the trolling, abusive language and threats directed at Neha, urging people to approach the matter with understanding and refrain from targeting her and her family. . . . While on @fox32chicago with my friends @tiaontv & @nataliebomkelive, Tia shared her perspective: if she were a man, she’d be open to taking a woman to McDonald’s for a first date. We had a good laugh and a friendly debate! 😂🍟 Family, you know I’m the budget guy, but McDonald’s isn’t my first-date choice. I believe in being thoughtful AND staying within what you can afford. You don’t have to spend big to show effort. Neither of us has to choose the same way, but now I want YOUR perspective: Is McDonald’s in 2026 okay for a first date for grown men and women? 👀 Is it about the place, the effort, or the connection? Let’s keep it respectful in the comments. 👇🏾
