Anna Lambe once called herself “deeply unfunny”. Netflix’s North of North put that claim to the test, casting the Inuk actor as Siaja, a young mother starting again in Nunavut. The series films in her hometown of Iqaluit, with Inuit designers shaping Siaja’s wardrobe. Before the show, Lambe worried about coming across as annoying or disruptive.
