Oilregistry

A chilling reminder of why safety protocols and proper PPE are non-negotiable on the rig. ⚠️
During a routine tripping operation, the massive elevators hoisted upward, catching this derrickman and lifting him completely off the derrick board. For a few heart-stopping seconds, he is left suspended high above the rig floor.
Fortunately, his fall-arrest system did exactly what it was engineered to do—preventing a catastrophic fall and giving the crew time to eventually secure him back to the board safely. #safetyfist #drillingrig #oilandgasindustry #oilfield
