📖 Perfect Strangers by J.T. Geissinger
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book genuinely had me going through every possible emotion. I thought I knew where the story was going, then J.T. Geissinger would throw another twist at me and completely flip everything I thought I understood.
The first part had me completely invested in Olivia and James. I LOVED their love story, their chemistry, their connection everything. I was so happy with how it ended that I was sitting there thinking, okay, I loved this book.
And then… the second section.
I was like: WHAT THE ACTUAL, HOW CAN IT END LIKE THAT?! 😳
But then being thrown into what felt like a third book within the book was honestly such a cool and clever concept. It completely changed the way I looked at everything I'd just read. It was like reading three different stories woven into one, and the different perspectives made it even more fascinating.
And the fact that her husband really is the perfect man, that the story mirrors what she had written, and then finding out that Emmy is actually alive and that she's living the life she truly wants?! 🥹❤️
That ending made me genuinely HAPPY.
This was so phenomenally written. The twists, the turns, the misdirection, the way everything comes back around I didn't see so much of it coming, and even when I thought I'd figured something out, the story managed to completely flip it on me again.
Perfect Strangers was basically a book, inside a book, inside another book, and somehow it worked.
I went in expecting a love story and got so much more.
J.T. Geissinger, you absolute menace. 😂
One of those books that is SO much better when you know absolutely nothing going in.
5 ⭐️ because what the fuck else could I give it?!
