Watching a Chinese designer take the stage at Paris Fashion Week, and bring centuries of culture with them, felt personal. @zouxin.xiangyun didn’t just show a collection at the Shanghafu show. They shared a story, told in silhouettes, embroidery, textures and details that felt like home.
My own style started with Chinese culture. It grew, changed and found its voice here in the US, but those roots never left. So seeing that heritage celebrated on one of the world’s biggest fashion stages, in Paris of all places, honestly gave me chills. 😍
Getting to talk with the designer, meet the team and then watch it all come together on the runway? A full-circle moment I’ll never forget. ❤️
