Enzo Fernández flattened the referee during Manchester City’s 4-2 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad on October 14, 2026, bumping into the official as he went to control a pass from Abdukodir Khusanov and shoving him to the ground, with play allowed to continue and no card shown. The Argentina midfielder, who joined City in September 2026 for £125 million to equal the British transfer record, later hit the post as Enzo Maresca’s side chased a three-goal deficit built by Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha inside 35 minutes, with Erling Haaland’s 60th Champions League goal in 60 games not enough to rescue the Premier League side in European football’s top club competition. President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Michigan this Sunday, October 25, for a campaign rally in Port Huron, just nine days before the November 3 midterm elections. The rally will take place at McMorran Place Arena in downtown Port Huron, located in St. Clair County. Doors are scheduled to open at 11:30 a.m., with Trump expected to deliver remarks beginning at 3 p.m. The president is visiting Michigan to support Republican candidates as the party works to gain support ahead of the upcoming elections. Port Huron officials say the event will mark the first presidential visit in the city’s and St. Clair County’s history. Michigan remains a major focus for both political parties heading into November. Trump won the state in both the 2016 and 2024 presidential elections. The president’s visit comes just days after Vice President JD Vance held a campaign rally in Monroe on October 15.
