@davidlicauco and @ashtineolviga_ Lead Filipino Adaptation of ‘Fight for My Way’

Viva One is bringing one of South Korea’s beloved K-dramas to Filipino audiences with “Fight for My Way,” marking the streaming platform’s first-ever Korean series adaptation.

Starring Ashtine Olviga and David Licauco, the series premieres on November 20, 2026, and marks the first-ever pairing of the two young stars. Ashtine returns to Viva One following her recent successes, while the project marks David’s first major series with the platform.

The Filipino adaptation follows Aira (Ashtine) and Hanz (David), childhood friends who find themselves struggling to achieve the dreams they once had. Aira dreams of becoming a TV announcer but works at a department store information desk, while Hanz, a former taekwondo prodigy, works as a pest-control staff member while trying to find his way back to professional fighting.

As they navigate adulthood, financial struggles, and personal setbacks, the two encourage each other to chase their dreams again. But as their friendship grows deeper, could their longtime bond turn into something more?

Ashtine brings her charm and determination to Aira. Dubbed the “Nation’s Mutya,” she rose to prominence through “Ang Mutya ng Section E” and has since made her mark in television, film, and music. She also recently staged her first solo concert, Love Like Ashtine.

David, meanwhile, takes on Hanz, a passionate and resilient dreamer. Known as the “Pambansang Ginoo,” he gained widespread recognition as Fidel in Maria Clara at Ibarra and has since become one of the country’s sought-after leading men.

Joining them are @mccoydeleon as Manny and @itsmeaubreyc as Sally. Together with Ashtine and David, they form the “Crazy Fantastic Four,” a group of longtime friends pursuing their own career goals while navigating love and friendship.

Directed by Crisanto B. Aquino, known for Seducing Drake Palma and Dating Alys Perez, the series promises a fresh Filipino interpretation of the popular friends-to-lovers story originally led by Park Seo-joon and Kim Ji-won.

“Fight for My Way” premieres November 20, exclusively on @vivaoneph
