A 100% offset sounds perfect. It's not the full story.
Panels degrade a little every year. You'll use more power once you're used to having solar. And eventually there's no one left in the house rationing electricity like it's still a gas bill.
If your solar rep isn't walking you through that, they're selling a number, not a system.
