The laws need to change. Involuntary treatment. Specialized hospitals. Ending safe supply. Enforcing strict laws. We need a monumental shift to reverse course. But giving them more of what’s hurting them, calling it “safe supply,” allowing them to suffer like this on the streets, none of this is compassion. It’s an epidemic that we have to tackle head on. Instead, the Liberals want to make it illegal to record the proof of their failures. This is someone’s son. There’s nothing compassionate about allowing this to happen in our country. It’s heartbreaking. Very very difficult to watch.
Days like this are my favourite 🤎 Blue skies, crunchy leaves on crisp, cold walks, time with the family and hot chocolate to warm up afterwards ✨ The last two months have been very mixed for me. There’s been so much to be grateful for, but they also marked a year since being diagnosed with breast cancer and starting treatment. I’ve also had various hospital appointments over this time, with all the worry and waiting that comes with them, and it all brought back a lot. This time last year looked so different, and I’m still making sense of some of it, learning and healing as I go. We all go through difficult seasons in life, but I don’t think I’ve ever been so pleased for these months to end. It’s strange how anniversaries can do that. But today was such a beautiful way to start November. After spending the last few weeks processing what’s been, it feels good to think about all there is to look forward to. So a big hello to November, I’m so happy you’re here 🍂 #november #autumnvibes #breastcancerjourney #lifeaftercancer

In the Smiling Friends animated short "Card Game" from the Smiling Shorts series, coworkers Pim, Charlie, Allan, and Glep gather around a table to play a confusing and rule-heavy tabletop game. When a bewildered Pim asks for clarification on the rules, Charlie and Allan try to explain the chaotic mechanics simultaneously, perfectly capturing the overwhelming feeling of learning a complex game from established experts. Charlie eventually clarifies that because Pim previously stole Allan's "thing," he has incurred a penalty and must roll a three on a die to escape punishment—but only after drawing a card first. The situation takes a terrifying turn when Pim draws a menacing card and innocently asks his friends if it is good. Charlie and Allan immediately panic upon realizing that Pim has mistakenly drawn the dreaded "Devil Demon Card". They frantically scream at Pim to quickly roll a three to counteract the threat, but their warnings come too late. A massive, horrifying demon bursts directly through the wall, sending all four friends into a state of pure, screaming terror as the chaotic official short on the Adult Swim YouTube Channel abruptly ends.
