In water treatment, permanganate plays a key role in addressing challenges such as iron and manganese removal, hydrogen sulfide oxidation, odour control and pre-oxidation processes.

Developed for drinking water, industrial and environmental applications, PDS (Permanganate Dosing System) is a compact and fully automatic solution designed for the continuous dosing of Potassium Permanganate (KMnO₄) and Sodium Permanganate (NaMnO₄) starting from liquid solutions.
The system automatically manages dosing based on water flow, ensuring reliable operation, dosing accuracy and process continuity. Through its touchscreen interface, operators can easily configure dosing parameters and monitor process performance in real time. ​​
A typical application is the oxidation of iron and manganese in drinking water treatment plants, where maintaining a stable and accurate oxidant dosage is essential to process efficiency. PDS is also suitable for industrial water treatment, environmental remediation and wastewater applications requiring controlled and continuous dosing.
