@lindacardellini has lived many lives. Audiences first came to love Cardellini as Lindsay Weir, the naive, army-jacket-clad teen in ‘Freaks and Geeks.’ Then came Judy Hale, the toxic yet endearing widow in ‘Dead to Me,’ and Carol Love-Smernitch, the no-nonsense presence in ‘DTF St. Louis,’ a role that recently earned her an Emmy. In fact, there hasn’t been a time in the last few decades when the actress hasn’t given us someone to remember. But her upcoming role in ‘Crystal Lake,’ @peacock’s highly anticipated ‘Friday the 13th’ prequel series, is unlike any other she’s ever had. She’ll play Pamela Voorhees, the franchise’s original female slasher—and an appealing protagonist for the lifelong horror fan to take on. Being able to “dive into this character who is touched upon but makes such a huge impression was a fun idea,” the actress tells ELLE. “She’s obviously not right in the head.” Ahead of the ‘Crystal Lake’ premiere tomorrow, Cardellini sat down with @clairemilch to talk about Pamela Voorhees, her days on ‘Freaks and Geeks,’ the legacy of her iconic ’90s and ’00s roles, and more. What's a “green flag” everyone praises that you secretly question? Someone who's always nice to everyone sounds wonderful, right? But I sometimes wonder whether they're genuinely kind… or simply uncomfortable with disappointing people. Because real kindness isn't just keeping everyone happy. Sometimes, it's having the courage to be honest—even when it's awkward. Would you rather have someone who's always nice or someone who's genuinely honest? #foreverroyalsama #foreversama

#NEWS: Sony Pictures is reportedly considering releasing all four Beatles biopics on the same day in April 2028, along with a four-ticket bundle encouraging fans to watch every film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. However, these are ideas under consideration, not a finalized release plan. Producer Pippa Harris recently said the goal is for audiences to experience all four films in theaters during the same period, potentially watching one per week throughout April. All four films, directed by Sam Mendes, are scheduled for an April 2028 theatrical release. Each will tell the Beatles’ story from the perspective of a different band member.
