It’s been ONE year without my Oreo 🐾

One whole year without you greeting me at the door,
One whole year without you following me everywhere,
One whole year without you laying next to me,
One whole year without your sniffies trying to give me kisses.
It’s been a tough year without you.
Today as the clock struck 1:19pm, I broke down remembering you taking your last breath in my arms… hoping I had more time with you.
It’s been a year wondering if I made the right decision.
Was it too soon? Could I have found another way?
I will never find the answer.
I just hope that you are happy and at peace.
I hope you found the comfiest cloud to lay on and talk to all your angel friends about us back home.
… and when our time comes, I hope that you greet us in heaven the same way you greeted us on earth.
