The hike is short. Getting there is half the adventure. Colonnade Arch is one of those Utah places that feels WAY more remote than the mileage would suggest and the payoff is huge. 📍 Colonnade Arch near Green River, Utah 🥾 About 3 miles round trip | 242 ft gain
🐕 Dogs permitted
👶 Kids can do this one, but there are a few spots where I’d keep them close
🗺️ No cell service so download your map before you leave. The route is cairned, but route-finding can still be tricky
📸 Morning light is beautiful here since the arch faces east
☀️ Very little/no shade, avoid the hottest part of summer and bring plenty of water 🚗 ROAD NOTE: The trailhead is at the end of Keg Knoll Road. Conditions can change FAST after storms, and this is remote dirt-road travel. I’d check current conditions before going and lean toward a higher-clearance vehicle if you’re unsure. Current nearby backcountry road reports are rougher than they’ve been at times in the past. You can call the Hans Flat Ranger station for current conditions . ⚠️ Please never touch or climb Crocodile Rock. It’s extremely fragile. And while you’re out there: stay on durable surfaces, pack out ALL trash + waste, and never carve into the rock. SAVE this one for a future Utah road trip + send it to the person you’d make the drive with. Is Tupac an L.A. rapper?? Last year, we hit the streets of of L.A. and people had their own opinions. ⁣ ⁣ Powered by @lexususa
This wallpaper couldn’t be more stunning for this space! 😍 We chose Tapestry Landscape in Beige from @belartestudio. We are almost finished with this entryway renovation so comeback for the final reveal. Also what should we add to our entryway? 🤔 A bench? Coat hooks? Wall mirror? Sconces? Options are endless. #wallpaperinspo #dreamhouse #tudorhome #homerenovationideas
