I loved being a dad.

But it took my wife going away for me to realise that the only reason I got to enjoy so many of the best bits of parenting was because someone else was constantly thinking about laundry, tidying, meal planning and food shopping.

And here’s the thing.

These jobs suck.

They’re not fun. They’re relentless. And they’re never actually finished.

When you’re completely responsible for managing them, it’s exhausting. And after a while, you get pretty pissed off.

If you’re tired of the resentment in your home and you want to work as a team, comment the word CHANGE.

Friday we celebrated our baby girl’s 12th birthday!! I picked her up early from school, stopped by her Auntie the Dollar Tree Queen to get a few goodies for the party, then a few more errands…she fell asleep, Grandpa took her to her singing lesson and finally it was time to party! We always appreciate the love, the care, the wisdom and the way our tribe shows up for her! Aunties, Godmommy, Cousins, Brothers, Grandpa, Friends thank you for celebrating with us!! Lola is everything I hoped to be as a little girl and my heart is so full of Joy that I get to live this life with her! Happy Birthday to my saucy Libra girl!! #LolaBunny
