Every Silicon Valley story starts in a garage, and so did GoUSA 2026 🇺🇸🇦🇹
On day 0 of our three-week accelerator, we kicked things off in the garage of our Co-Director Michael Dobersberger. From there, we set off on our OPEN AUSTRIA Innovation Walk up Twin Peaks.
The GoUSA startups were joined by Austrian entrepreneurs visiting the Bay Area and members of our Open Austria community who have called this region home for years.
We wrapped up the day in the backyard of our Co-Director Isabella Tomás, with one-minute pitches from our startups, good food and plenty of time to mix, mingle and connect. 🫶🏻

Dozens of Israeli settlers set cars and trees ablaze and attacked Palestinians as they gathered for their autumn olive harvest across the West Bank on Friday.

Masked men, some of them carrying gas canisters, chased and beat people, while others threw rocks and burned trees.

Health officials said more than a dozen people were injured across at least eight villages. Among those injured was Heidi Levine, an American photojournalist with The Washington Post.

Levine was forced to flee after she says the attackers kicked and beat her, even though she wore a vest clearly marked “PRESS.” Speaking from a hospital bed, she called the attackers “monsters.”

“They’re not even humans,” Levine said. “And, yes, they are Jewish terrorists, and they are giving everyone in the country a horrible reputation.”

In a statement, The Washington Post said it is “outraged” by the unwarranted attack.

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the violence but questioned what he called “the facts surrounding the confrontation,” saying they “remain unclear and are under investigation.”

1️⃣ ГОМОЦИСТЕИН
Это аминокислота, которая образуется при обмене белка. Когда её становится много, она повреждает стенки сосудов. Частые причины роста — нехватка витаминов B6, B9, B12, генетика и образ жизни.

По данным метаанализа, снижение гомоцистеина на 25% связано с уменьшением риска ишемической болезни сердца на 11%, а нарушений мозгового кровообращения — на 19%.

2️⃣ ХОЛЕСТЕРИН 9
Такие цифры я вижу ОЧЕНЬ РЕДКО. Лишний холестерин (особенно «плохой» — ЛПНП) откладывается в сосудах в виде бляшек.

Хорошая новость: метаанализ 26 исследований (170 000 человек) показал, что снижение ЛПНП на каждый 1 ммоль/л уменьшает риск серьёзных сердечно-сосудистых событий примерно на 22%.
