Seniors, you’ve spent the last four years showing up. Now it’s time to show it off!

There is ONE week left to nominate yourself for the President's Award of Distinction, so submit your materials before October 5. Learn more with the link in bio.

The Supreme Court Registry flagged 14 procedural defects in a petition filed by Rahul Gandhi and other Opposition leaders, including a ₹220 shortfall in court fees and missing vakalatnamas for nine petitioners. These are filing-related objections, not a decision on the merits of the petition. The petitioners must address the defects before the matter can proceed further.

I’ll admit, it feels so weird to do this life alone. I’ll even hazard a guess and say most of us who find ourselves here would agree, it’s not what we were chasing in the beginning.

I called one of my best friends the other day and heard all about his son, his brilliant wife, and how the chickens they were raising had just laid their first eggs. A beautiful life.
Such a juxtaposition to the one I have.
Ironically, he’s younger than me and living the life I always felt predestined for. The one I felt drawn to. Maybe even chased and charmed my way towards (admittedly, at the detriment of past lovers).

And yet, here I am, at the furthest point from the thing I wanted the most.
Drifting further out, it feels a bit like a Wes Anderson movie. Me, looking through binoculars back toward the shore of a rainbow (Row)-colored normality. Commiserating with my what-ifs and if-onlys, wondering how I ended up in this boat by myself. Wondering where my dog went.

Who knew happiness could be found in the opposite of what I thought I wanted? Maybe still do.
Not lonely, just alone. 🚣🏻
