Saya tinggal di kaki gunung Arjuno. Malam ini gunungnya terbakar. . Just in case sesuatu terjadi. . Gue gak tahu apa masyarakat kita terlalu santuy? Gak heran tiap bencana korbannya banyak. . Kalau dikritik, bilangnya: emang gimana caranya mencegah gempa bumi? Embohlah. Karepmu!
A $500 abstract painting gets you โ€œOh, thatโ€™s nice.โ€ A Browning M1917 gets you seven grown men gathered around asking what year it was made, how the water jacket worked, and whether the tripod is original. Before you know it, somebodyโ€™s uncle is delivering a 40-minute presentation on American military history and the wives have formed a separate support group in the kitchen. Thatโ€™s the difference between decoration and an experience. One gives the wall texture. The other gives every guy at Thanksgiving a reason to abandon the football game. Iโ€™ve never heard a grown man say โ€œBro, you HAVE to come see this incredible decorative vase.โ€ Case closed.
