Last Thursday we had the pleasure of attending Adam's brother's wedding in Scotland! The day was wonderful - filled with love, happy memories, and lots of laughter. It was an honour to be able to celebrate the happy couple!

As a wedding gift, Adam and I decided that we wanted to give the Bride and Groom something that they can remember and hold on to forever. I think that this sentiment reflects a lot of the thoughts, speeches, and wishes for the future which were shared on the day - that relationships are built to last, and that they are a foundation for lifelong memories. 

I completed an embroidery of the wedding location - the wonderful Hetland Hall Hotel. The venue was beautiful - and seeing the Groom venture up to the country house doors in a stunning vintage sportscar really helped to set the scene! Mathew - it was a good look for you!

The busy-ness of the day took us all by surprise! It has taken us until today to really wind-down, and for the newly-weds, the fun continues as they venture on their honeymoon later this week! Mathew and Kloé, thank you so much for a beautiful day - we hope that this embroidery reminds you of the fun, love, and memories from your wedding!

Now to the linen landscape talk! The embroidery is completed on undyed, natural Irish Linen. All threads are cotton, and there are some flecks of metallic strands in there too! Also, framing is completed by the wonderful Wallhangers on High Street in Bangor (who is taking care of a lot of my other pieces just now!).

It is a delight to finally share this embroidery! I have had it completed and stored away safely for quite some time now!
