We had the honour of setting the stage for the Service of Songs in memory of Emeritus Professor Gabriel Kayode Falade, a remarkable academic and pioneer in Petroleum Engineering.

Prof. Falade was widely recognised as a pioneer of Petroleum Engineering education in Africa, and the University of Ibadan continues to honour his legacy through its Department of Petroleum Engineering and the Professor G.K. Falade Merit Award.

It was a gathering to celebrate a life that contributed to the education and development of generations.

📍 Waniq Event Centre, Jericho, Ibadan

Comment “READY” and I’ll send you 25% OFF my current MLAM Full Body, Core, and Pelvic Floor Challenge!! LAST CHANCE to join for prizes & price goes UP at the end of TODAY!👏🔥 I have seen SO many women come into my programming wanting to “strengthen their pelvic floor”…yet they don’t even realize they’re dealing with a TENSE and TIGHT pelvic floor to begin with!! I never blanket statement anything in this work…but I will say probably 99.9% of the women I work with have some type of tension-related issue. Whether it’s in the posterior chain, the pelvic floor itself, the abdominals…or all the above SOMEWHERE we’re holding onto tension! And what are so many women being told to do??? CONTRACT. CONTRACT. CONTRACT. 🙄 For the one, off, on, off corner of the internet….telling women to hold for 30-40 sec straight?! GOOD GRIEF. PLEASE STOP. This advice is doing women such a disservice!! Can Kegels have a place? Sure. But not every woman needs MORE contraction. Some women need to learn how to LENGTHEN, RELAX, coordinate their breath, manage pressure, and THEN strengthen effectively! Our pelvic floor needs to be DYNAMIC👏 It needs to lengthen AND contract. And we need to stop treating it like an isolated muscle that just needs to be squeezed all day❌❌ There is SO MUCH MORE to pelvic floor health than Kegels!! And this is EXACTLY how I approach my training. Strength work, pelvic floor release, deep core connection, breathing mechanics, pressure management…ALL OF IT! Women deserve better education and programming that actually considers the body as a WHOLE!🤍 Comment “READY” and I’ll send you 25% OFF my current challenge!! Last chance to enter for BIG PRIZES and price increases at the end of TODAY! Join & submit your photos by 11:59pm ET to be eligible to win part of $101,000+ in cash prizes!!! I would be SO honored to have you join us!! Let’s gooooo👏👏🤍 Purchase required. 18+. Void in Maryland, Canada, and where prohibited. See Official Rules at solin.stream/rules. #pelvicfloor #kegel #postpartum #pregnancy #viral
One of the biggest blessings that God gave me from birth was an older sister. In my entire 31 years of living, there has never been a day that went by without you in it whether near or far. Even though you are the middle child out of the 3 of us, I think that we can all agree that you have always displayed the most discipline and consistency from such an early age. Prepping for this show with you was very reminiscent of our childhood. Before the show you made sure we booked our spray tans, scheduled our polygraph, measured our pre-show meals by the exact unit, and made me run through my stage routine repeatedly until I literally started sweating 😂. It was just like back in the day when you made sure my homework was done, woke me up every single morning to get ready for school, and you even risked your life when I convinced you to sign Ma’s signature on my bad progress reports 🤫😂. All my life you have not just been a sister but mother figure as well and I will forever appreciate you for that. Looking forward to us killing more stages! 💪🏾🤞🏾🏆 Love you ❤️ @lo_jolieee #siblings #bodybuilding #chesapeakeclassic #fitness #fitfam
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said a child had written a book about her titled “Punjab Ki Bahadur Beti” (Punjab’s Brave Daughter). Dedicating it to all brave daughters, including those absent from the gathering, she called on parents to trust and empower their girls and help them grow stronger.
