🔗 Comment LINK and I’ll DM you an entire collection of healthy, high protein recipes using cottage cheese in unique ways! Trust me, it’s not cottage cheese you don’t like, it’s the boring way it’s traditionally been used (coming from a former cottage cheese hater!). Thank me later! 😘

What started as a New Year’s Eve MISOGY with my brother-in-law to do our own “at-home 70.3” turned into buying an entry in May, moving to the Goldy in June & getting a coach in August. This weekend was such a special showcase of all the good bits in between.

*Final time: 5:07 | 24th/187*

Swim — 1:38/100m
Bike — 34.14km/h (1,200–1,500m elevation)
Run — 5:17/km

Swim: Felt incredibly strong. Spent plenty of time navigating around people, swimming wide for open space & mid-swim Google-fixing a water leak.

Bike: Felt unreal. Just a shitload of hills, including one good ol’ steep climb twice. Glad hills aren’t scarce in my weekly riding. Found a rhythm on each straight, tucked tight into aero & focused on keeping HR low, speed fast & watts medium.

Run: The leg I was most nervous about. What got me into this sport has really suffered this year. I knew sub-5 wasn’t happening; in the weeks leading in, I called 5:15/km, and that’s what happened. Nothing was really hurting, my legs just weren’t moving quickly. That’s that.

5 hours for all my hard work. 7.5 minutes to remind me there’s still a lot of work to do. ⚡️ @s0s_performance

I’m pretty quiet & to myself these days, but the love from those willing to drive 5 hours just for me, stand in the heat & rain for 5 hours, reminded me this isn’t a solo sport, at all. Randoms taking videos, pushing you on, people coming up afterwards showing love & the ones I love cheering me on…

I fkn love this sport, & I’m staying all in. 🦋

Elon commented after Tesla’s Next-Generation Roadster reportedly hit 60 mph in under one second and even pulled off a ‘kickflip’ over a fleet of Teslas during its reveal.

‘This will be an actual car that’s on the roads.’

turns out having no qualifications has never stopped me from having an opinion
