• the Ukraine • Alice Weidel, one of Putin’s most precious assets in Europe and leader (a term carrying a more precise nuance in German) of AfD party, who has faced infinite reports of advancing Kremlin interests, sits down with Zanny Minton Beddoes, editor-in-chief of The Economist, a British publication whose recent *alleged* collaborations with Russian state-linked entities and Putin’s tame ‘oligarchs’ have raised questions about its editorial independence. Weidel declares that “the Ukraine” has “already lost” the war against Russia and argues that the Germany should end its support for Ukraine. It’s really hard to say whose chatter is more annoying. It’s even harder to fathom the budget the Kremlin allocates to ongoing information operations. 🏷️ The Economist - - - @ukrainciaga.international @ukrainciaga.actual @ukrainciaga Published for documentation, analysis, and public awareness. Ektaa Kapoor alleges “Hinduphobia” in Bollywood, says Hindu mythology still faces judgement Producer Ektaa Kapoor has spoken out against what she described as “so much of Hinduphobia” in the entertainment industry, claiming that wearing religious symbols and discussing Hindu folklore and mythology can invite judgement. During a conversation with podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia on The Ranveer Show, the Balaji Telefilms head discussed her upcoming film The Vvaan, which draws inspiration from folklore. Kapoor also said she was happy when people compared the film’s look to a television serial, calling television “the staple food of India”. Her remarks have reignited the conversation around the portrayal of Hindu mythology and religious themes in Bollywood. #EktaaKapoor #Bollywood #HinduMythology #TheVvaan #EntertainmentNews
