It’s been incredible to watch Treeline Review grow over the years and become the go-to place for gear reviews and trip reports.
This is the first year Bead by Bead Adventures has been a part of the giveaway, and honestly, it feels like an “I have arrived” moment! Such a thrill to see my logo here with all these other amazing brands! 🥰
When I made my first Bead by Bead on the Appalachian Trail necklace in 2020 as part of the @quarterwayinn (my hiker hostel on the AT) I never would’ve thought Bead by Bead Adventures would become its own thing. I had been dreaming of some kind of wearable progress tracker since my AT thru hike in 2009 and finally made it happen 11 years later!! The AT necklace was a hit, and people who had it then wanted necklaces for their next trail… and then their next trail. Y’all know how hikers like to hike!! 😀 So in 2023, I spun off the necklace business from the hostel business and dove in! I have been designing new trail necklaces (and bracelets and earrings) as fast as I can over the last three years. I’m up to 19 trails and have seven more in the final review phase! And yes, I had no idea what I was doing or why a late SOBO start was a bad idea or the first clue about gear - but I did it anyway! If only Treeline Review had existed then! Could have saved me a lot of trouble!!
