6 November 2023… an accident changed my life for a while. 💔

I fractured my leg, and the doctors advised me to take around four months of bed rest.

I was in pain, I had my studies to continue, and my M.A. Third Semester exams were approaching.

But I didn’t stop.

My mother supported me through everything. She took me to my exams in a wheelchair, travelled with me by bus, and stayed by my side throughout that difficult time. ❤️

And even while I was on bed rest, injured birds continued to reach me.

Whenever a child brought an injured bird to me, I couldn’t turn them away.

I always thought—

“If I don’t take this bird from this child, they might leave it right where they found it.”

So I would keep the bird with me, provide whatever safe first aid I could, and call the bird ambulance so it could be taken for proper treatment.

I couldn’t walk myself…

but I could still try to help someone who couldn’t speak for themselves.

My legs were temporarily stopped,
but my courage wasn’t.

Looking back today, I realize that difficult times don’t always come to stop us. Sometimes, they show us how strong we can be.

And through it all, my mother’s support remained my greatest strength. ❤️

When I couldn’t walk,
I still chose to help. 🕊️
