$6 November 2023… an accident changed my life for a while. 💔 I fractured my leg, and the doctors advised me to take around four months of bed rest. I was in pain, I had my studies to continue, and my M.A. Third Semester exams were approaching. But I didn’t stop. My mother supported me through everything. She took me to my exams in a wheelchair, travelled with me by bus, and stayed by my side throughout that difficult time. ❤️ And even while I was on bed rest, injured birds continued to reach me. Whenever a child brought an injured bird to me, I couldn’t turn them away. I always thought— “If I don’t take this bird from this child, they might leave it right where they found it.” So I would keep the bird with me, provide whatever safe first aid I could, and call the bird ambulance so it could be taken for proper treatment. I couldn’t walk myself… but I could still try to help someone who couldn’t speak for themselves. My legs were temporarily stopped, but my courage wasn’t. Looking back today, I realize that difficult times don’t always come to stop us. Sometimes, they show us how strong we can be. And through it all, my mother’s support remained my greatest strength. ❤️ When I couldn’t walk, I still chose to help. 🕊️ CHEHEK CHARITABLE TRUST Voice for the Voiceless ❤️ #CHEHEKCharitableTrust #VoiceForTheVoiceless #Noori #BirdRescue #BirdRescueIndia SaveBirds AnimalRescue BirdCare RescueStory NeverGiveUp MotherSupport Compassion SaveBirdsSaveLife by @save_thesquirrel$

by @save_thesquirrel

20 August | Raja Garden, Delhi 🐦💙

When this Budgerigar came to me, his condition was not good. He had suffered a head injury after a crow attack, and one of his eyes was completely unable to open.

The first few days were difficult, but with proper care, rest, feeding and lots of patience, he has shown significant improvement in just 10 days. 🥹✨

His eye is improving, his condition is much better, and seeing this little one recover makes every effort worth it. ❤️

Every life deserves a chance to heal. 🐦🌿

16 August 2026 🦅💔 Today, two Black Kites were rescued after being severely entangled in kite manjha.

Both birds had wing injuries and were badly caught in the dangerous string. We carefully removed the manjha and provided them with the necessary first aid. ❤️‍🩹

Kite manjha is not just dangerous for humans—it can be deadly for innocent birds and wildlife too.

🪁🚫 Please Say NO to Harmful Manjha.

One string can cost a life.

16 August 2026 | Say NO to Harmful Kite Strings 🕊️

Today, a Blue Rock Pigeon and a Black Kite were injured due to paper kite flying. 💔🕊️🦅

Flying kites can be a joyful tradition, but any string that poses a danger to birds, animals, or humans must be stopped.

🙏 There should be a strict ban on paper kites, Chinese manjha, and every type of dangerous or sharp kite string.

Fly kites, but never at the cost of a life.
