Great hack! Thank you. Please don’t feel pressured to stick to toys though! I think it’s really important to remember that open ended play definitely doesn’t need to be about ‘toys’

Amazing hack! Love to see a mom showing us recommendations that are affordable because not all of us can get our hands on the expensive open ended toy brands that we see all the time.

My only concern is items in the pet store whether they’re for cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, etc. are tested and rated for said animals, and not tested and rated as toys for young children… is this a hazard, I don’t know, but I think it’s worth asking considering plastics, phthalates, heavy metals, and potential chemical exposure to developing bodies.
