Hilde Orye

I’ve just come back from a wonderful week in Romania at the Transylvanian School of Botanical Art in Copșa Mare.

James and Rachel have created a truly unique project: documenting and preserving the local flora while promoting the art of botanical illustration. I feel very grateful to have been part of it.

I also had the privilege of following a masterclass with Margaret Best, a wonderful and dedicated teacher from whom I learned so much.

Thank you all for this memorable week! It was a pleasure getting to know you, sharing experiences and listening to all your fascinating stories. I’m taking home not only new knowledge and inspiration, but also many beautiful memories.
