These pictures were taken at 2 am during the Harvest Full Moon and genuinley it was as bright as early morning daylight. I could see geyser steam for miles even better than if it really was daylight. Soaking up the good YNP vibes, and its just seems to be getting better and hopefully will manifest for the holiday season to come. 🌕 🎃🏞

Today is my mom’s birthday. To celebrate, we’re releasing this masterpiece from the archives. I considered giving zero context, but that would be an injustice to the incredible and over the top woman that is my mother.

Four years ago, Cole, Ben and I were on a work trip in Brazil, staying at the literal Copacabana when we called my mom to wish her a happy Mother’s Day. I kid you not, 45 minutes after learning where we were staying, my mother had written, performed, and recorded a personalized rendition of “Copacabana” about the three of us. We received the voice memo while we were still eating dinner.

Naturally, we made a music video in response. Naturally, it has taken us four years to release it.

Anyway, this is my mother. Hysterical, wildly creative, endlessly supportive, and a woman who has never met an occasion she couldn’t turn into a full-scale musical production. She loves my friends like her own and has taught me that life is infinitely more fun when you commit to the bit, laugh at the days to come and trust the universe’s magic and signs.

Happy birthday, Maman. I love you to the moon and back. 💜
