One year ago, @maandygram invited @urban_newsgang x @ppptvke to the launch of Baddies Need Love, and we got a front-row seat to a new era of Maandy.

Watching her evolution has been different. The sound, confidence, consistency and growth speak for themselves. For us, Maandy is already one of the defining female rappers of this generation in Kenya, and she has worked for every bit of it.

That night also had us kicking it with @namelesskenya, @luhyaheat, @chiche_is_real and @bonnke_west, plus some proper conversations with @breeder_lw and @nviirithestoryteller.

A year later, the memories still hit.
