One year ago, @maandygram invited @urban_newsgang x @ppptvke to the launch of Baddies Need Love, and we got a front-row seat to a new era of Maandy.

Watching her evolution has been different. The sound, confidence, consistency and growth speak for themselves. For us, Maandy is already one of the defining female rappers of this generation in Kenya, and she has worked for every bit of it.

That night also had us kicking it with @namelesskenya, @luhyaheat, @chiche_is_real and @bonnke_west, plus some proper conversations with @breeder_lw and @nviirithestoryteller.

A year later, the memories still hit.

More music. More culture. More conversations.

WAMTELEZ kidogo. 😮‍💨

UoN Upper Kabete understood the assignment.

Sherehe Vibes brought Urban Gang Tour to the University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Agriculture and from there... tuliteleza mpaka usiku. 😂

Campus activations. DJ experiences. College bashes. We do this.

A little throwback to a night we should have posted a long time ago.

In 2025, Urban Gang Tour had the opportunity to be part of Egerton University’s Freshers’ Night at the Main Campus in Njoro, working alongside @smirnoffke , @eabl_kenya, Captain Morgan Kenya and @ppptvke

The result?

10,000+ students.
One packed campus.
Crazy energy from start to finish.

Egerton showed up in numbers, and we made sure the experience matched the moment.

This recap has been sitting in the archives for a while, but some moments are too big to stay there forever.

Thank you to @smirnoffke, @eabl_kenya, Captain Morgan Kenya and @ppp_tv for the trust, and to every student who came out and made the night what it was.

Egerton University, this one was special. 🔥

Urban Gang Tour.
From Potential to Purpose.
