There are influencers, there are founders & then there’s @matildadjerf. Few people have shaped the way an entire generation gets dressed quite like the Swedish entrepreneur behind Djerf Avenue. The signature bouncy blowout, the oversized blazers, the strawberry prints, the kind of effortless personal style that launched a thousand Pinterest boards. Somewhere along the way, Matilda Djerf became more than a person to follow. She became an aesthetic, then a movement, then a brand. Now, that world has a New York address. On October 3, Djerf Avenue opened the doors to its first permanent store at 25 Bond Street, turning something that began with a girl in Sweden sharing her life online into a place people can actually walk into. And for Matilda, who started the company at just 22, it’s about more than clothes on racks. It’s about giving the community that’s been part of her journey a place to call its own. Of course, we had questions. We caught up with Matilda to talk about bringing a little piece of Sweden to Manhattan, what her 22-year-old self would think of it all, the pressure to constantly reinvent your personal style & her idea of a perfect, completely unscheduled day in New York. Spoiler: It involves a very specific coffee order, a ham & cheese croissant & being home early. Read the article on fluentmag.com.

🥹🤍 100K OF YOU?! 🥹✨ When we started this account just over a year ago, we never imagined it would grow into what it is today! 🥹 Our only goal was to share our beautiful, funny, sassy little Gigi and hopefully bring a smile to your faces every day. The messages we receive from you all, telling us how she’s helped you through hard times or brightened your darkest days, mean more than you’ll ever know. 🤍 The fact that she can do that just by being her own little self is the most beautiful thing ever. THANK YOU for every follow, share, comment and bit of love. 🫶🏼 Because of YOU, Gigi has had the most incredible opportunities, and watching her enjoy every second has been the biggest blessing! To our Gigi doll, you are perfect in every single way, and we are the proudest parents in the world. 🥹 And to Harry, Gigi’s big brother, thank you for all your love and for helping look after baby Lennon. None of this would be possible without you, too. 🤍 We truly are blessed with three incredible babies, inside and out. 🥹❤️ 100K of you, and we’re only just getting started… 🥂✨ Thank you for being part of our little family. We love you all! 🫶🏼🤍 #fyp #proud #100k #precious #ourgirl
