Mother Nature finally turned the dial to fall. 🍂

The forecast says fall, the patch says pumpkins, the market says apples, and this week, the gate says come on in for free.

You-pick apples are winding down for the season, with only a small amount of Keepsake, Regent, and Pink Lady available for gleaning. The word “small” is doing some heavy lifting here.

Pumpkins, however, are not winding down. They are very much in their main character era. If the orchard is saying “get here quick,” the pumpkin patch is saying “stay awhile.”

There are still some sunflowers and cut-flowers available for you-pick, although the cut-flowers are starting to show their age.

And for anyone coming for apples, the Farm Market is where the abundance lies this week. For pre-picked apples, we will have: Gala, Jonathan, Honeycrisp, Ida Red, Crimson Crisp, Jonagold, Liberty, and Crimson Gold (limited)
