Reconnecting Roots’ very own Dillon Hodges (firekid) recently took home the title of National Flat Picking Champion at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. We are proud as punch of our very own house band guitar virtuoso.
Dillon first won the National Championships at the young age of just 17 and now has come back 19 years later to reclaim the title. Congrats to Dillon!
You can listen to his award winning tunes from his new album, Solo Flat Picking -Dillon Hodges, on all streaming platforms. And as always you can enjoy the masterful picking of Dillon alongside Mandy McCauley and Heidi Feek on our season soundtracks.
