How many makeup artists can say they did makeup for a true icon let alone say that their makeup is forever preserved on a doll of said icon? Surreal honestly. And she’s even more beautiful in person just like the queen herself. I was honored to do makeup for Dolly Parton for the @acmawards in 2023 after doing makeup for Rockstar. We created different makeup looks for every outfit she wore that night and changed in between commercial breaks. (My favorite kind of chaos!) I had no idea til after that this performance would also be turned into a music video as well. Out of all the work I’ve done in my nearly 20 years of makeup artistry, I will always be the most proud of the work I did with Dolly. Thank you @integrity_toys for making her so perfect and @rebeccaann.seaver for heading a project so meaningful to many.

I just want to remind everyone that even if you’ve lived a life with trauma or abuse that it does not have to shape your future. You can live a wonderful life with beautiful memories despite the harm others have caused you. Speaking from experience. Ok love ya. 💞
