September has been a month of taking stock.

After the whirlwind that was August, it’s been lovely to have a little more time, to look back at everything we’ve achieved this year and to think about everything we’ve learned.

And there’s already plenty to look forward to. This month we’ve bought two yurts which will be joining the Eden Fold collection next year. We’ve got plenty of ideas for them… and we can’t wait to share more.

Out in the meadow, the seasons have started to turn. The first hints of gold are appearing in the trees and the landscape is slowly changing to autumn.

Not sure if I should share this or not, we’ve had a little low point too.
For the first time, we had guests leave one of our cabins in a real state, with items damaged and others missing. After putting so much love, care and thought into creating Eden Fold and making every stay feel special, it honestly hurt more than we expected.
I suppose it was always going to happen eventually. And perhaps it’s just another part of learning what it means to open your doors and share something you’ve poured your heart into.

Thankfully, our faith in people was very quickly restored.
A completely full weekend. Four birthday celebrations. Handmade banners, homemade cakes and a Luma Dome full of people coming together. And, most importantly, some genuinely lovely people who reminded us why we started Eden Fold in the first place.

We’ve also had two guests lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from here, and the Harvest Moon put on quite a show.

The bell tents have now been packed away until spring, there are still a couple of cabin weekends left this year if you fancy an autumn escape, and our 2027 calendars are now open — with bookings already coming in.

September, you’ve been a funny old month. A little bit of everything.

But mostly, we’re ending it feeling incredibly grateful.
For this place.
For everything we’ve learned.
For the people we’ve met.
And for everyone who has chosen to spend a little of their time here with us.

Thank you. 🤎

So sorry you have had that experience such a shame because anyone could see the detail that goes in to them, how anyone could do that is beyond me. The dome looks amazing btw! ❤️
