43. Creeping towards the mid-forties. More grey hairs, more body changes, but also more wisdom. Thankful for another year around the sun and some really great moments that I let myself steep in. Finding more time for rest, dancing until my feet (and knees) fall off, thousands of miles on my Peley, watching my kids step into another year of growth, annual wine trip with the ladies, becoming British for three weeks, new music Friday, elderberry shedding, and even saying goodbye to some of my favorite people (but doing it well). I like steeping…it’s like brewing a good cup of tea. You need to sit in the moment to truly get the good stuff out of it. I’m looking forward to another year of steeping in the moments - big and small. Thank you for all of the amazing birthday wishes…it was a moment I steeped in yesterday 💜
