Lovely weekend in San Fran - robot cars, waved hi to my BFF’s across/down the Pacific, Matt put Bowie in our hotel room, and let our animals talk at the best show of the year, complete with a @sofitukker 1:1 🐅🫶🏻 by @kyfia

Another year around the sun together, acting ridiculous and totally not our age (and also our current coping mechanism for raising three teenagers concurrently 😅). Let’s keep the show on the road, cowboy! Happy 22nd anniversary to my forever partner in life 💙 by @kyfia

43. Creeping towards the mid-forties. More grey hairs, more body changes, but also more wisdom. Thankful for another year around the sun and some really great moments that I let myself steep in. Finding more time for rest, dancing until my feet (and knees) fall off, thousands of miles on my Peley, watching my kids step into another year of growth, annual wine trip with the ladies, becoming British for three weeks, new music Friday, elderberry shedding, and even saying goodbye to some of my favorite people (but doing it well). I like steeping…it’s like brewing a good cup of tea. You need to sit in the moment to truly get the good stuff out of it. I’m looking forward to another year of steeping in the moments - big and small. Thank you for all of the amazing birthday wishes…it was a moment I steeped in yesterday 💜 by @kyfia

Reagan Jeanne back in the Eugene. Sophomore year! 💚💛 #goducks by @kyfia

We’ve been west now 11 years. Born Lions fans, but settled in the land of the Hawks, we became fans of both our place our origin, and the place we call home. And after an entire lifetime, we finally got to experience being a fan of a Super Bowl winning team…the one of our home. Celebrating that moment last night was so ridiculously cool. To feel an entire city full of pride. How people sat with each other and celebrated a renewed sense of community. Sports does cool things to people and to communities. Sitting in that joy is why people will sit through the rain, buy the ticket they couldn’t afford and call out sick to make a game. It’s a special kind of something and Seattle’s living it right now 💚💙 Go Hawks! by @kyfia

If you ever have a chance to do a sunset DJ cruise at the end of summer in Seattle with @vandeluxmusic please immediately say yes 🪩🧡 by @kyfia

Senior year! Class of 2027! I can’t believe my little buddy who wouldn’t let me put him down for more than 15 minutes as a baby is now in his last year of High School 🥹 He’s been hustling over the past few weeks - getting his schedule locked in, applying to college and he is officially the manager of the high school football team this fall. We’re so proud of you, Colton. It’s going to be an exciting year…and I’ll be digging the tissues out again🥲 by @kyfia

Happy 15th birthday to our family bookend! 🎈The wildest, most adventurous of our crew, and someone who has had a heck of a spring/summer! But it’s Virgo season baby and he is so close to being back to his happy place…on two wheels, with an engine, and in the dirt. Freshman year also starts today! We love you so much, Teddy. Cheers to another year around the sun full of growth and grabbing life by the horns 🤟🏻 by @kyfia

Mr. Durant has entered the Teams chat! 🍎I’d like to introduce you to the newest counselor at Kentwood High School in Kent, Washington! After years of hard work earning a master’s degree in counseling, taking every short-term opportunity he could, building so many relationships, and practically a cult following of students, David has turned his hopes and dreams into professional reality. If you would have asked either of us if he would be in this role 24 years ago when we met we would have promptly laughed in your face. David’s journey is a good reminder that life is a winding, twisty road and sometimes it takes a while to figure out where the next destination is. But when you get there, you know it’s right. Through all the ups and downs, frustration, and sometimes endless let downs, he never gave up. He knew he was good at this job, he loved it, and he persisted. Now he gets to reap the rewards and help hundreds upon hundreds of students - both with their life journey and their mental well-being. The entire Durant-Hinton crew is so incredibly proud and thrilled for him. This week was his first and he’s already slaying. No surprise though if you know this man 💁‍♂️ by @kyfia
