Releases are generally commissioned and artists are encouraged to produce a piece that is outside of their usual practices and habits. Special attention is given to the medium and packaging. Releases are preferably unique or extremely limited objects.

emitter micro is under attack: The artists of the Kiefholzstr. 19/20 studio house were given notice the day after the Berlin election, effective 31 December! The landlord is the State of Berlin, via BIM (Berliner Immobilien Management). This termination must be withdrawn. Then a long-term plan to secure the studios should be worked out calmly. Berlin needs culture, and the people working here are exactly the Berlin that, for all it contributes to cultural life, can't afford sky-high rents. I met with the tenants today to get a picture of the situation. Great people, an inspiring place that has to be preserved! Give the initiative @kiefholz19 a like, follow them and support them if you can.
