Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over opposition protests against the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls on Tuesday. "14 parties coming together and managing to gather a crowd of 8,000 across a 1.5 km stretch cannot become the voice of India", Shah said. Referring to the recent sweeping victory of the BJP in the Gandhinagar civic polls, Shah said that Rahul Gandhi needs to 'introspect' why his party has not won any election in Gujarat for the last 41 years, questioning whether Gandhi would blame SIR for repeated losses over four decades. Shah also 'warned' Rahul Gandhi to be prepared for a 'crushing defeat' in 2029.
So it turns out the World Bank - a financial institution that claims to be striving for a ‘livable’ planet - has continued to back fossil fuel interests like coal mines in Asia, gas fields in Africa and petrochemical plants in Asia AND Africa. Well the banker wankers are gathering together in Bangkok this month to decide how they’re going to spend OUR TAXPAYER’S money in the next financial year. Might be a good idea to not spend it on things that are causing the entire climate to collapse in on our heads? Just an idea (ad). Tag em if you agree. #climate #environment #fossilfuels #worldbank #climateemergency
Can’t even hate on it, makes so much sense - Instagram has basically forced me to start writing essays underneath memes because otherwise there’s a chance they flag the post as unoriginal. Had it happen with a few posts already and then you’ve got to delete them which is obviously a pain. That’s why you’re seeing every account put massive AI captions underneath everything at the moment. Don’t want to do that myself so this paragraph is literally just here for the sake of being a paragraph. Please ignore it.
We’ve both been married before… and neither of us can remember our old wedding song. Apparently our brains cleared the playlist. 😂💍 Now we need a first dance song for THIS wedding preferably one we’ll remember. What was yours, and would you choose it again? 👀🎶 #weddingsong #wedding #jamievillamor #alwaysonadventures #song
