Momentum Watches Sea Quartz 30 on a warm, beautiful sunny day! Most people know the story but in case you don’t: In 1977, a company named Chronosport launched one of the first-ever analog quartz diver’s watches, the Sea Quartz 30. The brand became so popular that it was soon sold in dive stores all over the US and Canada. This watch was so “beach/diver legit” that it was worn by Tom Selleck in the first 3 seasons of the show Magnum PI. The old owner of Chronosport now owns Momentum Watches & decided to re-release the Sea Quartz 30 with some upgrades. You can even get an automatic version but I want to stay true to my inner Magnum PI. The bad guys know it’s over when I pull up in my green Highlander. They even sell his red Hawaiian shirt!
