If you’re worried about the scale going up quickly after eating chocolate, donuts, pizza, cookies, ice cream, crisps, or any food you enjoy - this is what you’d actually need to eat to gain 1kg of body fat. 4 110g bars of diary milk 8 donuts 2 supermarket pizzas 4 cookies Tub of Ben & Jerry’s Huge packet of crisps It’s very unlikely you’d even eat a quarter of the above in a single day of high indulgence. If you see scale weight increase after eating some of the above, the probability is this is merely water weight. For very gram of carbohydrate you consume your body retains 4g of water, which will disappear fairly quickly. The weight gain is not body fat. No single food makes you gain body fat. Quantity, frequency, energy expenditure and overall lifestyle over long periods of time define how much body fat you have. #fatloss #snacking #nutritionist
Workwear with that autumn vibe 🍂 October might be my favourite month to get dressed. I love the autumn colours and being able to add a few layers without disappearing inside a thick winter jacket. This combo feels like it hits the autumn vibe just right — earthy tones, good textures and enough warmth for an October day. A little heritage workwear and rugged menswear, right in its element. What’s your favourite month for getting dressed? 👇 #heritageworkwear #ruggedworkwear #ruggedmenswear #menswearstyle #autumnstyle
