Light Bicycle has definitely pushed wide gravel rims to the max! These AG48 carbon rims are 35mm internal, 48mm external and 48mm deep, yet only weight 460 grams. Just built this pair up for a customer. With a 45mm tire they are super close to the ideal 47.25mm for an optimal 105% more rim width.

I’ve been super curious about these rims! The bead width doesn’t seem all that thick for such a wide rim. I wonder how well they will do against bottom-outs.

It is one of the most painful and common things families go through: siblings who grew up together quietly drift apart, or even stop speaking entirely, once their parents are gone.
