Slide 14: Gabriella’s object at the head of the table is not just any lamp, but a glass lamp. Recall in episode 2 Toledo during the Auvergne flashback that Gabriella “had a cold beauty,like snow behind a thick distorting wall of glass”. And in present day, she and Lestat hunt their prey fr a glass company and Gabs says about their last man standing, that he “loves glass.. also knows somewhere inside that he does not love glass”.

Another thing, 5th August is, I think, an inside joke to Hotel Portofino. In that day the Genovese's army destroyed Pisan's army during La Meloria battle, it's an iconic date from booth cities. And Hotel Portofino was setting in Liguria, near Genoa, it's filmed mostly in Croatia but the story is setting in Liguria 🔥😎

Sam Barclay is an homage to Samuel Beckett? I had no idea. I did see a hint of “Waiting for Godot” when they are rehearsing in the Theatre des Vampires. That explains it.
