India is not failing women by accident. It is failing them by design. A 13-year-old child was allegedly abducted, raped, trafficked, and sexually assaulted by around 30 men over five days. This is not just the brutality of a few individuals, it reflects systemic failures in policing, justice, child protection, and society. A rape is reported roughly every 16 minutes in India. Thousands of women and girls live with the fear that they could be next. We cannot keep celebrating our “culture” while ignoring the violence women face every single day. Respect for women is measured by their safety, dignity, and justice, not by slogans. Enough outrage for one day. We need accountability, faster justice, better policing, and a society that refuses to normalize violence against women. @poohshiesty attorney has filed an emergency motion asking a judge to intervene in the rapper’s jail conditions, claiming his mental health is suffering as he spends 23 hours a day in lockdown at a Texas jail. According to the motion, Pooh is only allowed two hours of visitation per month, despite reportedly having no disciplinary infractions to justify the restrictions. His attorney, Kent Schaffer, called the conditions “inhumane,” saying Pooh shouldn’t be treated this way while presumed innocent. The judge has yet to rule on the motion. Pooh is awaiting trial on federal kidnapping charges tied to the alleged kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane at a Dallas recording studio. He has pleaded not guilty, remains behind bars after being denied bond, and is scheduled to stand trial on Feb. 22, 2027. #poohshiesty
