Yes October is breast cancer awareness month but it feels like so much more than that now.

It's about more than the pink, more than the cancer.

It's about the journey, the transformation that takes place when you go through something that could have taken it all away.

Although I was already cancer free last October I think I was still in shock, still processing everything that had happened.

Now for this year and every year after I get to say that I am a survivor and for that I am incredibly grateful. Grateful for this life, for my daughters, for all of my family and friends that have supported me. Grateful for my medical team, doctors, and chemo nurses.

So this October is about more than breast cancer awareness. It's about stepping into MY SURVIVOR ERA 💝
